Ali Rothrock has been a firefighter and emergency medical technician in the volunteer fire service since 2005. She has delivered more than 500 presentations nationwide and she is the Founder and Lead Instructor for 'On the Job and Off,' an online platform dedicated to building more resilient first responders. Since its creation in 2018, its training programs are regarded as some of the best first responder mental health courses in the country. 

Ali is a CISM Team Member, Behavioral Health Specialist, and Certified Trauma Responder. She is also the Executive Director of First Responders Care, a non-profit that educates first responders to take an active role in their communities' resilience. 

Ali is the author of Where Hope Lives, a 2010 self-published memoir detailing her journey through her first few years in the fire service and the adversity she had to face as a young, female firefighter. Her second book After Trauma details her story of trauma recovery and features others' stories as well. After Trauma is set to be published on April 12, 2022.
